Community Involvement
John Reineke is currently involved in the Findlay Rotary Club and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Findlay Rotary Club:
The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage & foster:
- FIRST: the development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service
- SECOND: high ethical standards in business and professions, the recoginition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society
- THIRD: the application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life
- FOURTH: the advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation:
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is the leading organiztion funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. JDRF's goal is to profressively remove the impact of T1D from people's lives until we achieve a world without T1D. JDRF collaborates with a wide spectrum of partners and is the only organization with the scientific resources, regulatory influence, and a working plan to better treat, prevent, and eventually cure T1D.
